However, in modern times, there is a noticeable change in pigeon farming. Some people hatch eggs through mother pigeons and raise them through trained pigeons. However, some people only collect eggs from mother pigeons and hatch them in incubators or raise the babies through foster pigeons. However, if you do not have an experienced fosterer and you want to hatch eggs in incubators and raise them, you have to follow some rules, otherwise it will not be possible to raise the babies.

1/ Baby's habitat: - When the baby pigeon hatches, the pigeon covers the baby with its chest hair to provide a certain temperature, so that the baby gets its desired temperature. Many people often ask, in the case of raising a baby without parents, what kind of living space is needed for the baby of 1 to 7 days.

Method: - Select a strong and large paper box, so that adequate air can circulate, make such holes in the box. Now spread some paper or newspaper inside the box. As if a bed is made for the baby pigeon. Now place the baby in the box and keep the box in a warm and safe place.

2/ Temperature:- Now set the temperature of 90° degrees Fahrenheit i.e. 32° degrees Celsius in the box.

Method:- Set a 40 watt electric bulb in the box, set the bulb at a distance of 1 foot, if necessary, increase or decrease the distance. Or place a bottle filled with hot water under the paper bed that you have made in the box. And change it after 2 hours. Place a thermometer in the box and occasionally observe that the temperature does not go low or high in any way. In this way, keep the temperature at the same measurement for 24 hours for 14 days.

3/ Baby food:- Since you will be raising it yourself, I think it is necessary to have a detailed idea about the baby's food. Usually, the baby does not take any food for the first 24 hours. From 2 to 10 days, the pigeon feeds the baby pigeon milk. During the first 5 days, only pigeon milk or crop milk is fed. And from 7 to 10 days, crop milk is fed with lightly digested food. 4/ Hand feeding method: - Since you will take the responsibility of raising the baby yourself, there is no alternative to hand feeding, I have an article in detail on this. See the post. "How to hand feed a baby pigeon". The baby pigeon does not need any food for the first 24 hours. From the 2nd day, you have to serve food every 2 to 3 hours. In this case, you can prepare crop milk or liquid food for the baby. However, I would suggest that you "make crop milk" and serve it for the first 6 days. This will help the baby's growth.

Method: - Take a syringe or a feeding tube. Now fill it with crop milk or liquid food. One thing to keep in mind here is that the food should not get cold in any way. Always serve food at room temperature. After filling the food tube, gently open the baby's mouth. Now if you look carefully, you will see the mouth of the food tube. Set the mouth of the tube to the mouth of the food tube and feed the food slowly by pressing gently. Stop feeding when the baby's food pouch is 4/3 full. And serve the food in the same way after 2 to 3 hours. In this way, give only liquid food for 6 days, but it is better to serve only crop milk or liquid food for 10 days.
